Sessions

  • Weekly sessions are typically recommended for speech therapy

  • Sessions available in-person (Goose Bay) and virtually across NL, ON, AB, BC

  • Accent modification clients can be located worldwide, but will only be eligible for insurance reimbursement if in NL, ON, AB, or BC. 

  • Total number of therapy sessions varies significantly depending on the client (several months to years)

  • Parents are highly encouraged to attend and participate in sessions to learn how to best help your child practice at home

  • Some insurance companies require a physician's referral for speech therapy coverage, so please check with your provider

  • Information about accent modification sessions for adults can be found here

Rates

  • Sessions are 50 minutes in length

  • Individual sessions are $140 per session

  • Package option available: 8 sessions for $976 ($122 per session)

  • Additional travel charge ($100) for in-person travel clinics in Lab West

  • Payment can be made using credit card or e-transfer

  • Receipts for insurance are provided via email immediately following sessions

  • Most insurance companies cover speech therapy up to a certain amount each year
